Short Description

The qouplerDx will substitute the existing hand-held slide gate cylinder. The aim of the project is to create an automatic connection of the ladle slide gate cylinder to the ladle on the casting floor to improve the safety of the operator. The proposed solution will be built based on a new qoupler system that mechanically connects to the bell crank. The qoupler would actuate the bell crank in a similar fashion to the current manual procedures.
