In this project, qoncept performed an engineering study to evaluate the effects of increasing the ladle weight on a ladle turret. The work focused on verifying overall stability with respect to the foundation, anchoring, and slewing bearing. Structural calculations were carried out to determine whether the turret could safely accommodate the higher load conditions. The study provided a reliable basis for further decision-making regarding potential design modifications and operational safety, ensuring that the turret’s load-bearing capacity was clearly assessed under the new requirements.
