For this project, qoncept designed and supplied an automatic gas connection system for a TN purging lance. This system allows for remote and safe nitrogen connection, eliminating the need for operators to enter the lance area. The scope included designing, manufacturing, and workshop testing a hydraulic manipulator equipped with an actuated male coupling, a connector head for the lance, and integrated limit switches for position detection. The coupling design ensures a gas-tight connection with minimal losses, and it remains closed even in the absence of hydraulic pressure. This enhances operational safety and reliability. This complete solution was engineered for high-temperature environments and seamless integration into the existing hydraulic and control infrastructure. It provides a robust and efficient upgrade to the purging process.
