Short Description

In this project, qoncept delivered structured requirement engineering for a complete Level 2/3 automation system in a newly built steel plant with integrated ingot casting. The scope focused on developing a comprehensive functional specification that defined software requirements across all major production areas. To ensure a consistent and operator-focused system, qoncept designed UI mockups and process workflows that illustrated key interactions and supported usability from the start. This consulting engagement laid the foundation for a coherent system architecture, enabling the OEM to align software functionality, plant processes, and operator needs in a transparent and structured way.
