As the leading producer of merchant bars in France, our client offers a wide range of products, including flat bars, equal and unequal angles, solid rounds and squares, UACs, Tees, UPNs, and IPEs. Their selection has recently expanded to include concrete reinforcing bars.

Client Requirement

This project aims to develop and install an automatic coupling system for eight ladles. The system features two male coupling points on the ladle car for gas connections to the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and Ladle Furnace (LF), as well as two male coupling points on the Continuous Casting (CC) ladle turret for gas and hydraulic connections, enhancing efficiency and reliability in steel production.

Solution

We successfully delivered qoupler M for the automatic coupling of:

• 8 Ladles
• 2 Male coupling points on the ladle car for EAF and LF (gas)
• 2 Male coupling points on CC ladle turret (gas and hydraulics)
